The exhibition In nomine sancte... Castrum Pisinum marks the 1040th anniversary of the first mention of Pazin Castle! It is informative in nature and represents a kind of introduction to the Castle for visitors, providing relevant and interesting information about the history, architecture and significance of the Castle to all of the city of Pazin’s guests.
The Castle’s story is told by way of 15 panels - through turbulent centuries, history, architecture and curiosities both in and around the Castle, chronologically, from 983, its first mention, until the middle of the 20th century, when it became home to museum institutions, which have remained until today.
Besides the history and architecture, which are the fundamental content backbone of the exhibition, interesting facts from history, life, heraldry, art, related to the Castle or which supplement already known stories and information, are highlighted for each time period and on each panel.
Besides a chronological presentation of historical facts, we can see changes, construction styles and upgrades in the context of the architecture of the Castle and its importance and significance primarily from the point of view of the Duchy of Pazin (County of Pazin), as well as that of other historical moments. The exhibition also brings some hitherto less known information and interesting facts, and is full of photographs and reproductions of archival and museum material.
In addition to the materials of the Museum of the City and the archival materials of the State Archives in Pazin, materials from the Apostolic Archives in the Vatican, the Archives of the Republic of Slovenia, the Diocesan Archives in Poreč, the Croatian State Archives, the State Archives in Rijeka, the National Library in Vienna and the Sergej Mašera Maritime Museum from Piran have also been used for research and exhibition purposes.
The exhibition, dedicated to the development of Pula football, is presented through the activities of various football clubs that have operated in the city over the years, along with information about the place they operated, their successes and other technical features. The Noordung Visitor Centre, where the exhibition is located, is filled with football props, and the synthesis of Pula\'s footballing history covering a century and a half of this sport, which is an indispensable part of the city\'s memory.
The Motovun art gatherings, organized as international meetings of visual artists, are a multi-year themed event that took place in Motovun in 1972 and 1984. In that period, 11 art meetings by artists of different literary backgrounds, generations and origins were realized with the participation of more than 120 artists.
Today, the view of the Motovun meetings is shaped through inter-museum and international cooperation, bringing together artists and works of art, institutions, collections and curators, and representing work on networking and joint work, as well as interest in the history of exhibitions and the history of institutions.
The exhibition has been financed by the Ministry of Culture and Media of the Republic of Croatia, the Region of Istria, the City of Pazin, the Central Istria Tourist Board and the Pazin City Museum.

An exhibition about the free time of everyday Istrian life
Asparagus is one of the most appreciated wild plant varieties growing in Istria. Since it grows in less accessible places, often protected by thorny bushes, its picking requires eye of a hawk, iron will and not being afraid of an occasional scratch.
Asparagus is a well-known keeper of health and in terms of nutrition, an excellently balanced foodstuff. We need not neglect the fact that this wonderful plant has been considered an aphrodisiac from times immemorial due to its high vitamin E content, often spoken of as the fertility vitamin.
